Executive Director

Executive Director (Park City/Summit County Area)

We are seeking a passionate and experienced professional who will lead Sisu Adult Growth into the future, by providing  client focused program development, strong fiscal management, and team development. The Executive Director is responsible for leading the team to meet the mission by overseeing the administration, operations, and strategic initiatives of Sisu. The Executive Director will develop deep knowledge of field, core programs, operations, and business plans. Other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and community outreach. The position reports directly to the Board of Directors.

Sisu Adult Growth is a Non-Profit that provides adults with cognitive disabilities community based services. The main service we provide is Day Programming. Our Day Program is a program for adults with disabilities (18+) that gives them meaningful and fun activities to do throughout the week. Sisu Adult Growth's Day Program offers a mixture of leisure activities, volunteer experiences, and more all within the client's community. We partner with local businesses and organizations to help provide these opportunities. Our program is also 100% community based, meaning we do not have a facility.

 

Other responsibilities and expectations:

  • Update and maintain the Social Media presence 

  • Act as the main email contact for any and all inquiries

  • Plan gatherings and events

  • Maintain and grow Community Partners within the Park City community to keep engaging opportunities for clients

  • Fill out all the needed paperwork for new clients and helping families/clients through the process

  • Train all DSP staff 

  • Conduct employee observations and evaluations

  • Maintain and update employee schedules, keeping efficient communications with employees

  • In charge of hiring new employees and ensuring their paperwork is completed correctly and in a timely manner. 

  • Answer any questions from employees, and help employees problem solve when needed

  • Fill in for absent employees

  • Ensure all employee reports are completed by the end of the week.

  • Conduct any and all paperwork for DSPD monthly reports

  • Make weekly schedule for all clients pick up and drop offs

  • Work Day Program one day a week on Mondays to facilitate the week’s activity schedule

  • Maintain positive relations with client families

 

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience in serving individuals with cognitive disabilities

  • Experience in overseeing and directing a team

  • Able to make appropriate decisions based on unforeseen circumstances and under pressure

  • Logistical skills in scheduling and time management

 

Salary: $45,000/yr
